“Alexandra Naughton's poems are subversive, honest poems. They are in the spirit of resistance to dudebro culture and beefpizzle literature. This bookis a heartless and utter rejection of the white cis male death grip on all our lives.” - Dena Rash Guzman, Life Cycle (Dog On A Chain Press, 2013)
You Could Never Objectify Me More Than I've Already Objectified Myself Alexandra Naughton A Razor Geoff Melville Books
I heard Alexandra Naughton read from her work in Berkeley and nearly tripped over my lower jaw when I stood up to applaud. She has an articulation and fluidity that blew my mind—sort of a fragile feminist anti-Bukowski, unadorned and honest, but I hope not as honest as she sounds. Been looking for a new poet to follow and I'm very happy she's so young, we get to see her evolve and get even better, unless she makes a right turn and goes into organic chemistry or something.Product details
