All four of my grandparents were from Italy. Reading Chocolate Bella has renewed my desire to travel there myself. The colorful illustrations really captured the imagination. I felt like I was part of the tour group, meeting many interesting people and seeing the amazing sights. A very good book.
This book is really awesome! It really shows the effort that was put into each work of art in the book. It really does a great job taking you on a journey along with the group through Italy and France, I particularly love the captions giving a description of the scenes. The art style is wonderfully refreshing and very well done!
As an artist Chocolate Bella inspires me to take out a drawing bad and draw the scenery around me. Its a fantastic book that captures memories of adventures through an artist eyes. My favorite page was of the Einstein man in slippers. The author is truly an amazing artist and I recommend this book.
Love the title! "Chocolate,Bell'a" You have to say it with that rich, French, love accent. Lol... Really a fine and fun illustration. Well done! The details were really captivating. The author really painted a vivid picture, giving you a glimpse of Paris Italy. It made me wish I could go. I think this book was well put together. Adults and kids alike, would really enjoy this. A great bedtime book, or a great book to add to your child's library. A must have! I got mine. You gotta get your own.
